Twins, but not so much: Ahmed Sylla and Bertrand Usklat in a comedy with an incredible but real pace!

“A piece of emotion will surprise more than one”: Ahmed Silla and Bertrand Usklat, the funny and attractive tandem of Jumeaux, but not too much, are at the microphone of AlloCiné. The science fiction comedy hits theaters this Wednesday.

Unlikely, but (almost) true! Ahmed Sylla and Bertrand Usklat are the heroes of this week’s Jumo, but not much, a comedy based on an extremely rare but not impossible scientific fact.

Plot: 33 years after their birth, two twin brothers suddenly discover each other’s existence… For Grégoire and Anthony, the surprise is even bigger because one is white and the other is black!
There was a one in a million chance of this genetic phenomenon occurring. But their skin color is far from the only thing that sets them apart! Neither of them felt the jackpot by getting to know each other…

5 years after the great success of L’Ascension, noticed and awarded many times at the Alpe d’Huez Comedy Festival, Ahmed Silla returns to comedy between tenderness and emotion. It brings a new and unexpected duo to the fore. Ahmed Silla responds to Bertrand Usclat, the author of the successful short-form Brute and the face who takes his first film role here.

The tandem is all the more unexpected because both twins form a duet of brothers! If the pitch seems completely unusual on paper, Jumeau, but not by much, does not put himself on the side of schoolboy comedies, and as Ahmed Silla and Bertrand Usklat point out in an interview, it is not so improbable. With a mixture of tenderness and humor and a very complicit duet, Jumeaux mais pas trop manages to entertain and touch its stake. The film won the audience award at Alpe d’Huez last January.
