A Better Life Preview: Episode Summary for Thursday, September 29, 2022 [SPOILERS]

Vincent smokes with Celine to prevent her from doing something irreparable. He tries to open her eyes to the manipulation of which she is a victim. He declares that he is ready to jump with her. Eventually, they stop each other from doing so. Celine clicks and comes over and says Livia is home. Vincent immediately warns Leo.

The latter goes to the police station to warn Revel, Ariana and Jean-Paul. BRI is sent to Celine’s house. Jean-Paul arrests Livia, who is not surprised.

The next day Celine is in the hospital. According to his test results, Gabriel confirms that he was not drugged, but psychologically manipulated. He offers to keep her under observation for 24 hours so she can recover.

Indeed, Celine is upset because she doesn’t remember Livia being in the house. Vincent calms her down and informs her of the arrest. Celine then thanks her friend for saving her life. He advises her to rest while he goes to get something.

In turn, Luna comes to Pavel’s room to keep the garlic cookies, which Lorraine thinks is her indulgence. She casts doubt on the ex-convict’s affair with Pavel. Her strategy works as Lorraine is defensive and says she will soon be leaving the country with Pavel.

At the same time, Nathan overhears a conversation between Stan and Sabrina. He admits that there will always be something very strong between them. An angry Nathan enters the room and points a gun at Stan…

During breakfast, Killian and Lola continue to tell Gabriel and Thomas about Roland’s adventures. Thomas admits that he is upset that he did not know so much about it.

Then he offers his father to go fishing. But the latter admits that she is too busy with Killian. Thomas replies that all his sons need the same attention and his problems are no less important than his brother’s. Roland then invites Thomas to join him in a game of Bellot, along with Killian and Fremont.

During the game, Roland teaches Kilian all the rules and openly supports him. Thomas accuses them of betrayal and leaves the gaming table, shortly preparing to return to see them, but overhears their conversation in the kitchen of Mistral’s bar.

Killian criticizes Roland for giving him preferential treatment over Thomas. Roland thinks it’s not so bad. He’s even willing to let Killian know the secret of his osso buco recipe on the condition that he doesn’t say a word about Thomas.

Returning home, Thomas complains to Gabriel. He finds it unfair that Roland monopolizes all the attention of the twins when he never cared for him. He decides to throw a birthday party for Killian and Lola at Marci’s to stay in their good graces.

Meanwhile, Roland goes to Thomas to apologize for his lack of loyalty during their game. He offers to spend more time with his family, especially by organizing a birthday party for Killian and Lola at Bar Mistral.

Arriving at the police station, Kevin surprises Alexandra in her bra as she changes in the locker room. He’s not shy, even if Kevin gives him the privacy he needs to finish putting on the uniform. After which they kiss, but Ariane, surprised, reminds them to turn around.

During their lunch break, Kevin and Alexandra eat together at Marci’s. As Kevin goes to pay the bill, Sylvia approaches Alexandra to tell her about her very positive impressions of the couple they’ve made.

As they walk, Kevin and Alexandra continue to study each other. They realize that they went to the same camp every summer as kids. Kevin is convinced that they have already met there and wants to find photos of her from that time, but Alexandra is quite reluctant, insisting that she prefers to focus on the present and forget about the past.

Alexandra then asks Kevin to take her home. When they find themselves in Kevin’s room, the temperature rises. Alexandra takes matters into her own hands and gives a blowjob. Kevin regrets not getting pleasure in return, but Alexandra explains that it wasn’t the right time for him yet. Kevin admits that he is very happy in their relationship.
