The long-awaited trailer for the 5th season of the series is out “The Handmaid’s Tale – The Handmaid’s Tale” finally released by the platform hulu. In the trailer, which is 2min15 long, we can see how the assassination of the Commander Waterford (Joseph Fiennes) intensified the rivalry between June (Elisabeth Moss) and Serena (Yvonne Strahovski).
June will continue her quest to overthrow Gilead. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the showrunner Bruce Miller said that the story is reaching a crucial point. He doesn’t know if it means the “beginning of the end”, but it is certainly a point for internal reassessment. But he emphasizes that he wants to continue, while Elisabeth Moss he wants. The duo’s affinity is one of the secrets of the series’ success.
