A Better Life Preview: Episode Summary for Friday, September 30, 2022 [SPOILERS]

At the police station, Livia is interrogated by Revel and Jean-Paul. They are trying to get information about other fugitives. But Livia has no answer for them. However, he confirms Jean-Paul’s theory that he manipulated Celine into Vincent, who wanted revenge on him because the latter prevented him from killing Charlotte years ago.

Meanwhile, Sabrina pleads with Nathan to drop the gun and admits that it’s hard to get over killing someone. Finally, Stan takes the gun from her and leaves with her. Sabrina and Nathan hug each other.

In turn, Agathe asks Leo to sell her shares in Mistral so she can run away with him to Argentina, where she plans to find her son. They are interrupted by Claire, who has come to take Leo’s things away. He tries to justify himself by saying that he doesn’t think so. But Claire, on the other hand, believes that she has to choose between her and Agatha.

Meanwhile, Vincent accompanies Celine home. He doesn’t have much hope of getting back the money he transferred to an offshore account, but he’s happy they’re both alive. He then leaves Celine alone to rest.

Locked in a cell, Livia manipulates Celine from afar. She puts on sexy clothes and goes to Vincent. She breaks into his room, handcuffs him to the bed and prepares to stab him to death. Vincent realizes that he is under the influence and tries to regain his senses…

Blanche learns that she will be attending the twins’ birthday party organized by François Rolland. He’s invited himself, but doesn’t think he can come because of the fight between Noah and Killian.

In turn, Roland invites Mirta to a party. Watching the two of them, Thomas thinks they might be getting back together.

After a while, Roland, Thomas and Killian talked about the organization of the party and in particular the guest list. Killian learns that Roland has invited Blanche, and therefore Noah.

Killian goes to his former best friend to officially invite him to his birthday just to please his father. Noah accepts the invitation, even though Killian would have preferred him to decline.

Killian then talks to Roland, who suggests that he stop holding grudges.

In high school, Noah and Beth try to put on a good face while all their classmates make fun of them because of a viral video of Laetitia putting them in their place.

At the end of the day, Laetitia confides in Kevin that her lesson went well when she expected quite the reprisal. He puts the incident into perspective and hopes to turn the page by renewing his dialogue with Betty and Noah.

He has no doubt that they are looking for a way to expel him from high school. By chance, they get information from Blanche. This gives them the name of a friend, Sophie, who works in the rectory. Bette calls her out as if she is a student’s parent and points to Laetitia on the pretext that she supports Nazism and Marshal Pétain. Betty receives confirmation that the National Education Check will be held in 10 days.
