This Thursday (29), Apple TV + announced two big names for the “Dark Matter” series. They are the Brazilians Alice Braga and Jimmi Simpson.
In the series, Braga will play Amanda, a psychiatrist, while Simpson will play the brilliant neuroscientist Ryan, also a friend of Jason (Joel Edgerton), the protagonist of the plot.
About “Dark Matter”
The “Dark Matter” series is inspired by the book of the same name, written by Blake Crouch (also screenwriter and showrunner of the adaptation) and considered one of the best science fiction works of the decade.
“Dark Matter” tells the story of Jason, physicist, professor and father who lives in Chicago and ends up being kidnapped in another reality. Soon, change becomes a nightmare for Jason as he tries to return to his reality of him among the many existences he could have lived in.
In the process, he struggles to find his true home and family, as well as save her from a terrible and indestructible villain: himself.
“Dark Matter” will have nine episodes.
