Warning, spoilers. Before continuing reading this article, it is advisable to watch the first six episodes of House of the Dragon.
In just a few episodes of Dragon House, Harvin Strong (or Harvin Fort in French) has become a true fan favorite. This character is a knight of House Fort and heir to Harrenhal. The eldest son of Lord Lionel Fort and brother of Larry Fort, Harvin is considered the most powerful man in the Seven Kingdoms.
Although he only had a few prominent appearances in the first five episodes of the Game of Thrones spin-off, Harvin was a big part of the sixth episode. He actually became the lover of Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen (Emma d’Arcy) and the biological father of her children, Jacqueris, Lucerys and Joffrey.
Obviously, these bastards, passed off as descendants of Laenor Velarion, Rhaenyra’s husband, are at the heart of every rumor in the kingdom. In the sixth episode, this topic is discussed, which jumped 10 years in time compared to the fifth episode.
But the hidden idyll between Rhaenyra and Harwyn comes to an abrupt end when her brother Larris kills her along with her father, after she is forced to relocate to Harrenhal after a fight with Kristen Cole. Larris did this to gain the favor of Queen Alycent (Olivia Cooke), in the Cold War with Rhaenyra, and to better manipulate him.
Fans of House of Dragons are very sad to have to say goodbye to Harvin Strong, who became one of their favorite characters, especially because of the chemistry he had with Princess Rhaenyra and his charisma and physicality.
But do you know who hides behind that knightly build and that long hair? An Australian actress who has been a child and teen star for a long time now. This is the Ryan Cory you’ve seen in The Sleepover Club, Packed to the Rafters, and Blue Water High: Surf Academy, and in Max and the Wild Things, Wolf Creek 2, and You Shalt Not Kill.

It’s safe to say that Ryan Corry has changed a lot since he was a teenager, and that even at age 33, he’s changed a lot for the role of Harvin Strong. And he can thank Pandemic after trusting the actor A new idea That he grew his hair out while in prison and that his looks helped him land the role of Harvin Strong:
“It was kind of funny, because when this role came into my life, I hadn’t cut my hair in probably two and a half years, right? So, you know, this Game of Thrones role came to me and I walked out. On the bed and they were like, ‘Oh, you look great. It’s like you’re from Middle Earth.”
While it’s sad to see his character go, Ryan Corr did his best to make him memorable in the eyes of the audience, as he explained. Insider :
“We always knew Harvin had limited time on the show. I talked to Ryan and Miguel early on about how to create maximum impact.
