A Better Life Ahead: Episode Summary for Monday, October 3, 2022 [SPOILERS]

Using her pentacle, Livia continues to manipulate Celine into killing Vincent. Ariane hears her noise and asks for reinforcements so she can remove the object from her.

In turn, Vincent assures Celine that he is under Livia’s influence, recalling the day before when he wanted to jump off the ledge. He adds that she is the woman of his life. To prove he’s telling the truth, he points to a love letter he’s just written. After regaining consciousness, Celine reads a letter in which Vincent states that he realized he still had feelings for her.

Meanwhile, Ariane and Patrick arrive at Vincent’s. Entering the room, they surprise him by making out with Celine…

While Vincent is convinced he wants to rekindle his relationship with Celine, Leo, meanwhile, still can’t decide between Claire and Agatha.

Lola and Killian blow out the candles on their 17th birthday at a breakfast hosted by Thomas and Gabrielle. The twins admit that they would love to create a real family. Meanwhile, Roland asks Mirta to mend his shirt. He then invites her to dance at the Zephyr Ballroom in memory of the good old days.

Roland, Thomas, Lola and Killian cook together at Bar Mistral. Roland teaches them his famous Osso Buco recipe. He also takes Lola’s suggestion to add some orange peel. They are joined by Francois from America, who helps them. Lola then decides to immortalize the moment with a selfie.

With their guest, the Marquis sat down at the table in Mistral to share a meal together. Francois invites Blanche and the children to his house for Christmas. Thomas and Gabriel will be the greediest. Lola tells Noah about summer vacation while Killian serves coffee. Fills Roland with happiness. He decides to play soccer with Mathis at the Place du Mistral. His grandson wins the game and runs to warn his father.

Meanwhile, Roland has a heart attack and falls to the ground…

Kevin tells Baptiste about the rake taken by Alexandra. Nevertheless, the young man is determined to find a way out. At the police station, Kevin learns that Alexandra is not there because she is supposedly sick. So he goes to her house to renew the dialogue. He insists that he is still in love with her.

Alexandra offers him a ride. She admits that she was very touched by his confession and shares his feelings. But he has been used to rejection all his life and does not want to suffer anymore. He is not ready to reveal certain things about her to her. Kevin is willing to put in the time and prove to her that he can be trusted.
