Tomorrow Belongs to Us: Will Kathryn Jacobs (Bridget) Return? Julie Debazak and Kamel Belghazi respond

Allociné: The Daunier family has become one of the most popular Tomorrow Belongs to Us. How do you rate the evolution of your characters since coming to the series?

Kamel Belghazi : We are very upset and very upset that the Downey family has become so popular because we all came after them. And here we are again. We managed to land a spot on a series that was already well established with families and very close-knit couples. We managed to get our place by crawling down a little mouse hole, and we’re pretty proud of it.

Julie Debazak: We are two hard working people. We love to play together and create things together. We especially love to play.

Kamel Belghazi : I think this is one of the conclusions we can make. Artistically, we love to play. We said a few years ago that we wanted to play together and it happened. And we still love it so much.

Julie Debazak : I also think of authors bringing what we can bring in humor, in our energy, in our characters as characters that evolve. What’s great about everyday life is that the character has time to experience different situations and grow. And being in viewers’ homes every day is very disturbing. I think it’s great when people tell us that they vacation with us and that makes them feel good. Knowing that they like it and that they like us is a real satisfaction for our work. I am touched.

Kamel Belghazi : It’s true that our characters grow individually and as a couple. We are not just two individuals, we are also a couple and a very solid family, despite being gone. We were able to create a very solid family.

Recently, Avore and William saw their eldest daughter travel to Spain to open a restaurant with a friend. On a personal level, how did you feel about Emma Smith leaving?

Julie Debazak : It’s slow.

Kamel Belghazi : He didn’t really go. He still left his cuddly toy at home. And the child does not leave without comfort for a long time (laughs).

It was humanly sad because we were attached to this little one. I was amazed at how quickly it happened. Time passed very quickly. When I heard that he was leaving, it was difficult for me. There was a lot of emotion in the last days of filming. from him too. We felt that even if he left, he was very attached to the series, his character and us.

Julie Debazak : We’ve created links that will stay.

Nordin (Youssef Agali) has just moved to Downeyers. Much to the displeasure of William, who frowns upon this. How will the relationship between the two men develop? And what kind of stepfather will William be?

Kamel Belghazi : If William had boys, I think it would be much cooler (laughs). His daughters are there. William didn’t take too well to his older daughter’s first sexual encounters, but he eventually accepted things because it’s his son. With Manon (Louvia Bachelier), he was quite cool in his exchanges and sharing in the beginning, which surprised Sofia and Aurora. But it suddenly turns around because Nordin comes to live in the house (laughs). We took a step and very quickly (laughs). It’s mostly funny. William remains a very protective father hen.

Can we expect new Downey family intrigue in the coming weeks?

Julie Debazak: Kathryn Jacobs returns. We can’t say much more, but Kathryn Jacobs is coming back.

Kamel Belghazi : Of course, it will affect everyone. This will result in creating scenes like the ones we already had with different settings and dialogs. It gives good situations. It will be good. As for plots, no Downeyer Arch yet, but I hope it’s in the works.
