A collector wants to leverage the success of Netflix’s “Dahmer: An American Cannibal” to cash in. In an interview with TMZ, Canadian Taylor James said he has the glasses used by the serial killer in real life in his collection.
Owner of the Vancouver-based Cult Collectibles store, the collector intends to sell the retro gold eyewear with metal rims for US $ 150,000, something around R $ 810,000 in current conversion to our currency.
In the interview, Taylor also recounted how she got Jeffrey Dahmer’s glasses. The item came to you through a man who worked in his father’s house. And the macabre relics do not end there: there are still photos of the family, a Bible, letters, a Bible and even the cutlery used by the serial killer.
The killer and cannibal, who killed 17 people, was sentenced to life in prison in 1992. However, Jeffrey Dahmer was killed by another inmate in November 1994.

More on “Dahmer: An American Cannibal”
“Dahmer” is a co-creation of Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan, and follows the murders committed by serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer, played by Evan Peters. The premise of the series is to tell the stories of Dahmer’s victims and the failures committed by the institutions that allowed the killer to continue his slaughter of 17 victims over a period of 13 years.
However, the series, in addition to being criticized by the family of one of the serial killer’s victims, received mixed reviews from critics. While some point to the good performance and its portrayal of systemic racism, others complain about the sensationalism in presenting a convicted killer.
