The trailer for the highly anticipated Nintendo movie “Super Mario Bros.” finally arrived, during the Nintendo Direct, presentation that took place this Thursday (6).
To present the trailer, Nintendo hired Shigeru Miyamoto, while Illumination Entertainment CEO Chris Meledandri appeared to comment on the production. Meledandri gave some updates on the production of the animated film of the iconic Nintendo characters.
Additionally, Chris Pratt and Jack Black appeared to comment on their characters and introduce fans to the trailer.

The beloved game universe animation was announced in 2018 as a collaboration between Nintendo and Illumination Entertainment, the animation studio behind “Minions”. Now, the companies are ready to release the first trailer for the film.
Since the announcement, little has been announced about “Super Mario Bros.” in addition to the vocal cast. Original English voice actors will be Chris Pratt as Mario, Charlie Day as Luigi, Jack Black as Bowser and Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach.
Pratt previously described his performance as the iconic plumber’s voice as “unlike anything you’ve ever heard in Mario’s world before.” Now we can finally hear Pratt’s voice as Mario for the first time.
Nintendo had already released the poster for the film earlier this week. Watch:
“Super Mario Bros.” it is expected to arrive in Brazil on March 30, 2023, a week before arriving in the United States on April 7.
