In August 1991, within days of Jeffrey Dahmer’s arrest, media coverage of Tracy Edwards caught the attention of authorities in Tupelo, Mississippi. He was arrested on charges of sexual violence against a 14-year-old girl.
He was extradited to the South for trial, later returned to the city of Milwaukee. He decides to file a lawsuit against the police for their incompetence in the Jeffrey Dahmer case. He is asking for $5 million, but his appeal is ultimately dismissed.

In the years that followed, Tracy Edwards got into trouble with the police. according to ABC NewsArrested on charges of possession of narcotics, theft, damage to property, unpaid board and bail.
In 2002, he became homeless and moved from one shelter to another. In July 2011, almost twenty years after Jeffrey Dahmer was arrested, he was arrested and found guilty of murdering Johnny Jordan. After an argument, Tracy Edwards and another man threw the victim, also homeless, off a bridge into the Milwaukee River.
The following year, he was sentenced to a year and a half in prison after a plea agreement. Since then, the media has lost track of Tracy Edwards. He is now 63 years old.
