Actor Dwayne Johnson, also known as The Rock, attended the red carpet of the world premiere of “Black Adam” in Times Square in New York, where he was asked about the possibility of a crossover between DC and Marvel.
The question was asked to The Rock by Jordan Moreau of Variety, who wanted to know if he believed it was possible for this crossover between Marvel and DC to happen. Johnson said it would be about meeting fan demand.
“Well, I’m always optimistic. I’d like to think we’d see it. My philosophy is that anything can be done. Let’s start with the final goal. What if the ultimate goal was to have some sort of crossover that could be compelling, smart and interesting for the fans, “Johnson said.
“Let’s get a temperature gauge if they want to see something like this. And then, if they want, we create this. I run my business like this. I truly believe anything can happen. Anything can happen with the right people and in the right places, and with the right leadership, having the right conversations. “
In addition to commenting on this potential crossover, The Rock spoke about Warner Bros. Discovery, now led by CEO David Zaslav, a figure emulating the role of Kevin Feige at Marvel Studios.
