Marvel Studios VP Nate Moore has ventured a comparison that will likely shock moviegoers!
Set to hit theaters on November 9, Black Panther Wakanda Forever is one of the most anticipated Marvel movies in recent years.
Nate Moore, VP of Maison des Idées, is clearly very enthusiastic about director Ryan Coogler’s feature film.
he asked DirectMoore compared the adventure of Black Panther 2 to The Godfather, Francis Ford Coppola’s 1972 masterpiece.
“It sounds crazy, but I’m going to say it. Black Panther 2 has a bit of a mob movie feel to it. There’s a bit of The Godfather. You’re going to say I’m crazy, but to me, that’s what it feels like. A family war. This movie focuses a lot on Wakanda coming face to face with its power, To Namor’s world, Talokan’s enemy.Nate Moore explains.
It sounds crazy, but I’ll say it. Black Panther 2 has a bit of a mob movie side to it.
The vice president then explained his thoughts, knowing he was going to jumpstart millions of moviegoers and Godfather fans.
“These two isolationist nations that are incredibly powerful, perhaps more powerful than any other nation in the world, are trying to figure out how they can co-exist. In the film, Wakanda opens its borders to some extent and influences the world. Namor suddenly”he notes.
“Namori arrives in Wakanda with a proposal reminiscent of one of the Godfather’s five families. And Wakanda has to figure out how to negotiate with this world power that doesn’t fear him.”Nate Moore concludes.
Will Namor make an offer Wakanda can’t refuse? Reply November 9 in darkrooms.
