We already have the first image of the remake of horror film of ‘The Grinch’, entitled ‘The Mean One’. Directed by Steven LaMorteEast slasher “green” is starring David Howard Thornton (‘Gotham’), which we will see in the skin of the iconic character that Jim Carrey played 22 years ago – only with a little “killer” touch.
Krystle Martin (‘9-1-1: Lone Star’) will get into the skin of Cindy, whose parents have been killed by ‘The Mean One’ when she was just a girl. She now, she will return to the small town of Frazier Park to finish him off, while he prowls the neighboring mountain.

As reported dead lineXYZ Films intends to release the film for free on-line in the US on December 15, although the platform on which it will do so has not yet been announced. And it’s also unclear whether other countries would have access.
The company’s development acquisitions manager, Alex Williams, shared the following statement: “As a passionate fan of Christmas horror, ‘The Mean One’ is exactly the kind of movie that ends up on my personal list.“
“The film is impressively good, coupled with David Howard Thornton’s fiercely subversive turn. XYZFilms is proud to offer the audience this slasher Christmas, soon to become iconic, this Christmas holiday,Williams concluded.
In addition to this, you shouldn’t forget to include on your list of movies to watch: ‘Violent Night’ with David Harbour, which received rave reviews at last week’s Comic-Con in New York. This film will be released in theaters on December 2 and follows the story of a wealthy family that is attacked during Christmas Eve. At that moment, Saint Nick (David Harbour) will appear and save them… all with their Christmas work in hand.
