Star Wars: This Rogue One character is back in the Andor series? The fans believed

Warning, spoilers. It is recommended that you watch Episode 7 of the Andor series before continuing with this article.

Episode after episode, the Andor series continues to explore the origins of the resistance against the Galactic Empire through the journey of Cassian Andor (Diego Luna), a character introduced in Rogue: A Star Wars Story. While developing unexplored corners of the Star Wars universe, this prequel series throws in some winks and references that hitch wagons to the saga.

And fans tune in every week to learn more about Cassian Andor and the formation of the Rebel Alliance. With episode 7 available on Disney+, the public believed that the Rogue One character was making an appearance.

After robbing Aldan, Cassian returns to Coruscant with his adoptive mother Maarva so they can escape together. But she refuses his proposal, and Cassian takes refuge on the planet Nyamos under a new identity called Keef.

And playing a tourist, Cassian/Keefe arrests a distant officer before being sentenced to six years in prison on false charges. It’s another unwanted twist for our budding rebel. But before they can be tried, Cassian/Keef is controlled by the KX droid, which many fans have mistaken for K2SO, Cassian’s kind droid companion in Rogue One.

Unless he really was K2SO before Cassian reprogrammed him! The continuation of the first season of Andor will give us the answer. Meanwhile, fans believed that K2SO was meeting Andor for the first time and shared their disappointment but also excitement if the droid did indeed appear in Andor.

In addition, another major character of the saga may appear in the series: Emperor Palpatine, who is mentioned several times in this seventh episode, may well appear in Andor!

Translation: “Who else jumped?”

Translation: “My heart raced.”

Translation: “I really thought it was K2.”

Translation: “Oh my god, drawing the Empire on the show is amazing, I’ll never get tired of it. And then the false alarm on K2, I almost screamed.”

Translation: “Wait, what if Cassian reprogrammed one of the K2 droids to escape the prison and that was the K2 we see in Rogue One??”

The Andor series is currently running on Disney+.
