The first three seasons aired on NBC. However, on June 14, 2021, “Deadline” announced that the network had canceled a fourth installment, leaving the story unfinished. Netflix came to the rescue and shortly after restarted it, thanks to which the audience knew the expected result.

“Tuca & Bertie”

Over the years, Netflix has canceled various productions, one of which was “Tuca and Bertie,” which premiered its first season on the streaming platform in 2019.

The adult cartoon, which follows the adventures of best friends Tuca and Bertie, has been picked up by Adult Swim which, according to ‘Variety’ on August 4, 2021, ‘has secured international rights to seasons 2 and 3, now making the program available worldwide.”

The Money Heist’

Better known by its Spanish name “La casa de papel”, the series was broadcast in 2017 on Antena 3. After two seasons, the Spanish network announced its cancellation. It was Netflix that acquired the rights to the first two installments, as well as the production rights.

After being saved, the production led by celebrities such as Álvaro Morte, Úrsula Corberó, Alba Flores, Itziar Ituño, Miguel Herrán and Pedro Alonso became a phenomenon that captivated fans from start to finish. “The Big Bang Theory” (Extra)

In each of its installments, the adventures of Sheldon and Leonard captivated the audience. What many of her fans don’t know is that the show couldn’t make it past the first pilot episode because Penny’s character was a rude young woman with scientists, which was not well received by the audience.

In a conversation with “Entertainment Weekly” published on September 23, 2022, the creators of “The Big Bang Theory” (with its title in Spanish) Bill Prady and Chuck Lorre said how they saved the “sitcom”.

“The miracle of this program is that we had the opportunity to learn from our mistakes and improve. CBS called after the first pilot. I said to Bill, ‘Let’s add more of these brilliant, misfit characters and lose the plot entirely. Let’s spend half an hour immersing ourselves in the lives of these brilliant, misfit characters.”
