The second film in the series hasn’t come out yet, but producer Nate Moore has revealed that Marvel is already thinking about “Black Panther 3”.
“There are definitely ideas of what a third film could be if we can do it. But until the movie comes out, we’re a little superstitious in that sense (…), because you never know what’s going to happen, “Moore told Collider.
While “Black Panther 3” has yet to be confirmed, Moore said ideas for a sequel have been discussed. However, before making any decisions, the studio wants to see how audiences will receive “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever”.
“To be honest, it’s not me trying not to answer the question. We really want to see how audiences get the film, and I think Ryan [Coogler, diretor] he’s really interested in seeing how the film turns out before he decides, ”Moore explained.
With the Marvel productions schedule change, the film “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” will be released in Brazilian theaters on November 10th as the last film in Marvel’s Phase 4.
In the film, Wakanda will enter a grieving mood over the death of its main character, King T’Challa, mirroring the death of actor Chadwick Boseman in August 2020. Therefore, Black Panther 2 will focus on the female characters of the franchise. .
“It was the right story to tell. These were the characters who were most affected by T’Challa’s death, so we focused on the appropriate people, ”Moore said at a press conference in the presence of Total Film. “It’s not about pushing women forward or holding back men, it’s about telling a story that’s organic.”
In this production, Letitia Wright returns as Shuri, T’Challa’s younger sister. During the pandemic, the actress was at the center of the controversy involving the anti-vaccination movement and she also suffered an accident on the set of the film.
Also returning are Danai Gurira as Okoye, Angela Bassett as Queen Ramonda, Lupita Nyong’o as Nakia, Winston Duke as M’Baku and Martin Freeman as Everett Ross.
The film will introduce the underwater kingdom of Talokan, which will star Tenoch Huerta as Namor. Riri Williams (better known as “Iron Heart”) will be played by Dominique Thorne.
