The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has chosen the host for the 95th Academy Awards. They will again be comedian Jimmy Kimmel and the host of his own evening show, according to Deadline.

This will be the third time for Kimmel, having hosted the ceremony in 2017 and 2018, the second time being the 90th anniversary ceremony. And, by the way, the envelopes in the category “Best Film” were mixed up with him. Then, we recall, they called “Moonlight” instead of “La La Land”, and then they had to ask the cast of the first picture to leave the stage. At the end, Kimmel joked:

But Kimmel is far from the record: most often – 11 times – “Oscar” was led by Bob Hope. Billy Crystal did it nine times, Johnny Carson did it five times, Whoopi Goldberg and Jack Lemmon did it four times.
The 95th award ceremony will take place on the night of March 12-13, 2023. The nominees will be announced on January 24th.
