Brown said the two have shared the experience of ‘growing up in public’ and suggested she detected similar feelings when watching old interviews with the pop superstar.. “Well, same with you,” she said, comparing her and Britney’s early experiences to Drew’s work as an in-demand child actress in movies like ‘ET’ and ‘Eyes of Fire.’ I know her, but when I look at pictures of her, I feel like I could tell her story the right way. Drew seemed impressed by the conversation with Millie, continuing the discussion by praising her as “so wise, so magnanimous, and so fucking great.”
Millie didn’t share any details about what that envisioned Britney biopic would focus on, though her age would suggest she might be ideally suited to play the singer-songwriter when she was at the height of her fame, whereas she’d likely be too young to convincingly portray her. to a more mature Britney in the midst of her personal drama.
Several times throughout the interview, Drew gushed about how much he loved Millie’s Enola Holmes movies, in which she co-stars with Henry Cavill. Brown has known Cavill since filming began on the first Enola Holmes installment in July 2019. She plays the eponymous character, while Cavill plays her famous detective brother, Sherlock Holmes. “We have like a very good friendship, a very healthy one. One that we have terms and conditions on,” she continued. What makes the friendship so ‘healthy’ seems to be the boundaries Cavill set regarding discussing her personal lives with each other. A dynamic that is entirely different with the ‘Stranger Things’ co-stars, as they have all grown up together for the past six years. “With them it’s different. There are no limits because it’s like we’re all brothers,” she said. “But with Henry, he’s very strict with me, which I appreciate.”
