Eleven and others have come a long way since the launch of Stranger Things! And the character played by Millie Bobby Brown could not have gotten into the Brothers Duff series without the help of an actor well known to the serial fans.
You really forgot that, but before you played Toby in the movie This Is Us, which really marked his career, Chris Sullivan was in the subtitles for the first two episodes of Stranger Things!
Indeed, the actor played Benny Hammond, a small restaurant owner in Hawkins. It was he who first contacted Eleven after he got a young girl after he ran away from a lab run by Dr. Martin Brennan. While he was looking for food at the restaurant, Benny offered it to him rather than kicked him out and called social services to find accommodation.

But it would be in his best interest to cancel it as he would have trouble getting into the trap of Dr. Brennan, who posed as a child protection officer and was shot. The time during which Dr. Brennan kills Ben allows Eleven to escape again and finds refuge with Mike (Finn Wolfhard), who becomes his most valuable ally with Sheriff Hopper (David Harbor).
Of course, there is another role of Chris Sullivan in the no less famous alternate world that you may not have noticed under his great make-up and that is the role of Taserface in Guardians of the Galaxy 2!
This Ravager’s pay for Yondu (Michael Rucker) ended the revolt against his captain and arrested him (as well as Rocket and Grout) before he was killed in the blast. Later, the actor voted for this character in the episode of the animated series What If …?
While you wait for the 4th season of Stranger Things to be unveiled on Netflix in May, you can find Chris Sullivan in Toby’s Skin We Are The Last Season, which is currently airing on CANAL +.
