Two weeks before Mark Harmon leaves, the 19th season of “NCIS” will feature a new character on M6 tonight, Olden Parker, who will quickly become a replacement for Gibbs. Focus on his translator, Gary Cole, who appears in the films “Veep” and “Desperate Housewives.”
Launched last Tuesday on M6, NCIS Season 19: Special Investigation Continues Tonight with the second episode of this new group, entitled “Second Man,” which continues the final narrative arc of Gibbs (Mark Harmon).
Indeed, in two weeks the NCIS hero will say goodbye to the series after more than eighteen years of good and dedicated service. That’s why tonight’s writers are introducing a new character who will quickly prove he will be Gibbs’ replacement on the team.
During their investigation, McGee (Sean Murray), Torres (Wilmer Valderrama) and Knight (Katrina Lowe) cross over to the man they think is the serial killer who attacked Gibbs in the finale of the 18th season. But, in reality, Olden Parker is nothing more than an FBI undercover agent who is also trying to arrest Paul Lemmer (Jason Wells), the real killer.
Parker is played by Gary Cole, whose face certainly tells you something, as the 65-year-old American comedian has appeared in numerous films and TV series since the beginning of his career. In the movie “Brady Tom”, “Intuitions”, “Photo Obsession”, “Circle – Ring 2”, “Crying Wolf”, “Delirium Express” or “Jones Family”, Gary Cole is best known for his roles on the small screen.

But viewers of M6 may have known her for her role in Desperate Housewives Season 4, in which she camped out in 6 episodes with Wayne Davis, the ex-husband of Catherine Mayfair (Dana Delaney).

For a few episodes, McGee, an ally of Gibbs and the rest of the team, Parker will be released from the FBI and will join the NCIS forever.
