The Uruguayan team has prepared a tribute to some players this Wednesday. Goalkeeper Muslera, defenders Godín and Cáceres and forwards Cavani and Suárez received personalized plaques for their fourth World Cup appearance.
Until then, only one Uruguayan player had played in four World Cups. This is former player and manager Pedro Rocha, who had an amazing time at São Paulo between 1970 and 1977.

Muslera, Godín, Cáceres, Cavani and Suárez represent a talented generation from Uruguay. The group’s best cup campaign so far was a fourth-place finish in 2010 in South Africa. Since then, the team has reached the quarterfinals at most.
The Uruguayan team makes its debut in the Qatar World Cup this Thursday, at 10 (Brasilia time), against South Korea, at the Education City Stadium. Uruguay are in group H, which also includes Portugal and Ghana.
