Argentinian Nahuel Bustos announces departure from Sao Paulo; see farewell message

The 2023 season hasn’t started yet, but San Paolo is already working on reformulating the squad. This Thursday, striker Nahuel Bustos announced his departure from Tricolor Paulista after a short spell and without many opportunities.

Hired on loan on August 5, Bustos stayed with Tricolor do Morumbi until June 30, 2023, but the parties opted for an immediate termination and, therefore, the athlete will not be part of Rogério Ceni’s squad for next season. The striker belongs to Manchester City, England, but was at Girona, Spain (also in the City group) before joining Sao Paulo.

On his social networks, the Argentine has published a farewell message to the San Paolo fans.

“Saying goodbye is never easy, so I took a few minutes to say a few words to all the tricolor people. I have to say goodbye in a strange way, but I’m calm because I know I gave my all every time I defended the shirt São Paulo. We have decided to take a break, to move, we think it is the best thing for everyone,” wrote Bustos, who took the opportunity to thank him.

“I would like to thank the time spent together, the club for their trust, my teammates for fighting with me to the end. I thank the fans for the support and love they have shown me. I feel very honored to have worn these colors.” , concluded the attacker.

Without many chances under Rogério Ceni, however, Bustos only came on nine times for São Paulo. In all the games played, the striker scored once, against Ceará.

In addition to the Argentine, San Paolo have already said goodbye to defender Miranda, full-back Reinaldo and forward Éder at the end of the season.
