“We will do it with the same respect, rigor, intensity and energy.”
After the conclusion of the first season of ‘Andor’, one of the best ‘Star Wars’ series, the main star Diego Luna has advanced to the fans what you can expect from the second season of ‘Andor’the ‘Star Wars’ series.
In an extensive interview with ‘Entertainment Weekly’Luna talked about her experience in the series of Disney+including the end of ‘Andor’ and the post-credits scene, before explaining that the final season of ‘Andore’the series you should watch even if you don’t like ‘Star Wars’, won’t be coming anytime soon.
“You’re going to have to wait a bit for the second season because each season is like four movies; it takes time,” he revealed. “The only thing I can promise is that we will do it with the same respect, rigor, intensity and energy.”
“We’re not going to rush it. That’s the great thing about this show. It’s only two seasons, and we can focus and try to deliver something as good or even better.”
The actor, who also appeared in 2016’s ‘Rogue One’, revealed that production on the second season had started quickly, leaving him with little time to rest.
“We just started. It’s like it hasn’t stopped. I think I finished the first season like two or three weeks ago,” he said.
“That is the great difference of this format, we never stop working […] We are about to start this new journey for the second season, which is long. But we do it with this beautiful feeling of knowing we’ve done something that people care about.”
filming of the second season is scheduled to end in August 2023, and showrunner Tony Gilroy promised it would be “different” to the first season of ‘Andor’, whose chapters we summarize here.
“I hope that what we are going to do in the second half will make the end result really satisfying,” he said (via ‘Rolling Stone’). “The first year is really about him becoming, and the last line of this 12-episode stretch will sum up where we’ve been trying to get to. And we come back a year later. It’s going to be very different.”
