The film, which is estimated to cost $60 million to produce, follows Seiya’s (Mackenryu) journey after the mystical energy known as Cosmos awakens in his body. The young man seeks the Greek armor of Pegasus to help Sienna / Saori (Madison Iseman), a girl struggling to master his powers.

The cast also includes Famke Janssen (X-Men: The Movie), Sean Bean (Game of Thrones), Mark Dacascos (John Wick: Parabellum), Diego Tinoco (On My Block) and Nick Stahl (Terminator 3). The screenplay is by Josh Campbell and Matt Stuecken (Cloverfield Street) and the direction is in the hands of Tomek Baginski, of the series The Witcher.
Knights of the Zodiac: Saint Seiya will hit theaters in 2023.
