The Football Museum continues with the spaces for broadcasting World Cup matches

The Football Museum has a special program for the World Cup period. The venue offers spaces for fans to watch the World Cup matches live in Qatar. The performances continue until December 18, the date of the final of the tournament.

The areas of the museum made available for broadcasts will be the External Area, the Great Space Room and the Body Game Room. Opening hours, starting December 1, are 10:00, 13:00 and 16:00 Brasilia time.

For Brazil national team matches, there will be musical entertainment one hour before the broadcast and during the intervals of each match. On days when the Brazilian team plays, the museum will be free.

At the moment, the exhibit “22 in the field” is exhibited in the museum.

What relationship can be established between modernism and football? How can the cultural movement that has tried to valorise a daily Brazilian culture be linked to sport, which also came from abroad and which has rapidly become popular in all social classes? This is one of the mottos proposed by the show.

Curated by Guilherme Wisnik, the exhibition presents connections, sometimes unusual, sometimes surprisingly direct, between the cultural movement and the sport of the multitudes.
