Diamond Films has released the national poster and trailer for “The Big Deal – Operation Fortune”, the second consecutive action film from director Guy Ritchie with actor Jason Statham.
Much lighter and more comical than the previous one, “Infiltrator” (2021), the new feature film follows secret agent Orson Fortune (Statham), whose mission is to track down and prevent the sale of a new deadly weapons technology that threatens to disrupt the world order. To achieve his goal, he recruits (through blackmail) the villain’s favorite movie star, with the aim of infiltrating him into the plan.
In addition to Statham, the film also stars Aubrey Plaza (“The White Lotus”) and rapper Bugzy Malone (“Tycoons”) as secret agents, Cary Elwes (“A Castle for Christmas”) as one of the bosses of the operation , Josh Hartnett (“Departed”) as the actor and Hugh Grant (“Tycoons of Crime”) as the villain.
“Ransom Scheme – Operation Fortune” hits theaters on January 12th.
