Szczesny revealed that he made a curious bet with the Argentine star before the save

– I won’t pay, I don’t think he cares about 100 euros (laughs). Defending a penalty from what I consider to be the best player in football history, and even in a World Cup, is the ultimate moment for any goalkeeper – completed the Polish national team player.
Despite the defeat, the Poles, as well as Argentina, qualified for the knockout stage of the World Cup in Qatar. In the round of 16, Poland will face France next Sunday, at 12:00 (Brasilia time).
