The White House plans to host President-elect Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva for a visit, a spokesman said Friday.
John Kirby, White House spokesman on national security, told reporters that Lula would visit Washington “at an appropriate time.” He added that National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan will visit Brazil for talks on Monday.
