The first trailer for James Gunn’s final chapter in the ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ trilogy has just dropped, giving fans a glimpse of how the story will end. Of course, all of Marvel’s teasers should be taken with a grain of salt, but it looks like Star-Lord will finally reach a resolution in his relationship with the alternate timeline version of his soulmate Gamora, while Rocket’s backstory will also be revealed. will explore further.
Perhaps most exciting for comic book readers, however, is the appearance in the trailer of Will Poulter as the golden super being Adam Warlock.
Adam’s debut in the Marvel Universe was first teased in 2017, in a mid-credits scene from ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2’. Previously known for his performances in ‘Black Mirror’ and ‘Midsommar,’ Poulter recently underwent a very strong body transformation to interpret the “perfect” and “beautiful” Adam Warlockan arduous process that he spoke about earlier this year.
