Ronaldo unveils Paulo Pezzolano selection polls

Live on ‘RonaldoTV’, Phenomenon said the Uruguayan national team probed the Cruzeiro coach after Diego Alonso’s sacking

Former player and owner of SAF do Cruzeiro, Ronaldo Fenômeno, revealed in a recent live broadcast that Raposa’s coach Paulo Pezzolano has received polls from the Uruguayan national team.

The contact took place after the elimination at the World Cup in Qatar and the dismissal of coach Diego Alonso. Uruguay is looking for a new coach to start work for the 2026 World Cup.

As for the Raposa coach, however, Pezzolano shouldn’t leave Cruzeiro for now.

“Pezzolano is being probed by the Uruguayan national team, but this is ours, it’s closed with our Cabuloso,” he said live on RonaldoTV.

Paulo Pezzolano is one of the main managers of the Cruzeiro phase. He was Série B champion with Raposa and, with brilliant football, brought the association back to the elite. He now has challenges in the Campeonato Mineiro, Copa do Brasil and Brasileirão.
