With Tite’s cycle coming to an end following the Brazilian national team’s elimination at the World Cup in Qatar, the CBF are looking for a new manager to take over next season. Within the entity, Carlo Ancelotti is the big favorite to replace the coach who remained in charge for six years.
As discovered by Gazzetta dello Sport, there are no proposals yet, but the CBF board will intensify conversations to formalize an offer for the Italian coach. The entity agrees to wait until the end of the European season to have the coach running Real Madrid.
The formal proposal of the CBF will be implemented only after the initial talks, if it is understood that Ancelotti would be willing to take over the Brazilian national team.
If the Italian coach accepts the proposal to take over from the end of June next year, a youth coach of the Brazilian national team would take on an interim role. This name could be that of Ramon Menezes, who now commands the under 20.
During this period, the interim manager will manage the senior squad during the FIFA date, between the end of March and the beginning of April. The opponents are not defined, but the trend is that there will be two friendlies.
Even if Carlo Ancelotti accepts the proposal, the CBF would have to oversee the Real Madrid manager’s departure, given that the Italian has a contract with the Spanish club until June 2024.
If there is no agreement with Ancelotti, a Brazilian name is studied as plan b. In this way, coach Fernando Diniz takes the lead in the dispute, being well evaluated by players and managers.

Within the CBF, the expectation is that the Brazilian team will be closer to the country from next year. The contract with Intonationcompany that exploits the commercial rights of friendlies, ends at the end of 2022 and is not expected to be renewed.
