The Brazilian midfielder plays in Kazakhstan football and is the biggest ball stealer in the league
Midfielder Rafael Sabino, of Akzhayik, Kazakhstan, was the leader of the “steal” of the ball in the last edition of the Kazakh championship. The Brazilian has recovered the ball for his team 203 times in the entire competition. Rafael revealed his satisfaction in leading the main category of players in his position.
– It’s not the only, but in fact it’s the most important attribution of athletes who play as midfielders. I am very happy that I stood out and competently satisfied what was asked of me – said Rafael.
It’s not the first time Rafael has won the race for the title of greatest ball stealer in a league. When he played in Ukraine, in Lviv, he also achieved this feat in the local competition. The São Paulo native talks about how easy it is for him to do it.
– From a young age I already had this characteristic, but of course I have improved. For me it’s a natural thing, I’m happy to bring ball possession back to my team, which is absolutely essential for us to try to defeat the opponent – concluded the player.
