The first month of 2023 is approaching with the arrival of the new year and, as always, Netflix will bring new movies and series to its platform. Several highly anticipated titles will be streaming over the next month, so here’s a list of January 2023’s top releases.
Among them we will have the new series That show from the 90ssomething between a spin-off and a sequel to the beloved 90s sitcom, That show from the 70sfollowing a new group of teenagers and counting on the return of some well-known faces.
Giancarlo Esposito, the Gus Fring of breaking Bad and Better call Saulwill star in another new Netflix series, the action Kaleidoscope, which also debuts in January on the platform. What sets the eight-episode series apart is that audiences will be able to watch the first seven episodes in any order they like before checking out the final episode.
Another January highlight, and the first movie mentioned here, is The pale blue eye, a sort of gothic thriller directed by Scott Cooper and starring Christian Bale. A curiosity of the production is that newly elected US Senator John Fetterman and his wife Giselle will make a special appearance in the film.
Going back to the series, some big hits like Vikings: Valhalla, John & Georgia and Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight they will win their second season this month.
Another big news when it comes to movies is the feature film Some peoplewhich will bring together a comedy dream team: Eddie Murphy, Jonah Hill, Julia Louis-Drefus, David Duchovny, Nia Long and Lauren London.
