Portuguese coach Renato Paiva hasn’t even arrived and is already suffering from the Brazilian calendar. It turns out right-back André has been called up to defend the Brazil national team in the South American Under-20 contest, missing Bahia for up to five weeks.
Therefore, 19-year-old André will perform in Rio de Janeiro for the Brazilian national team on January 5th. The competition will take place from 16 January to 12 February. If Brazil reaches the final, the player will lose 8 of 10 matches in the first stage of the Bahia Championship and two matches in the Northeast Cup.
