Gretchen reports the police threat and says she is leaving Brazil

Singer Gretchen announced this Friday (6/1) that she will leave Brazil after being threatened by the police. The rebolado queen, who had criticized disrespect from customers at a rubber shop next to her home in Belém, got into a mess with the military police on Tuesday night (4/1), complaining of a car parked in front of your garage

He would have been intimidated into reporting the infraction, accusing a police officer of even pulling out a gun. And he says that, since then, he has received threats from “military police people.” “[Estão] saying he had to put his ass on me. I didn’t print it because I was stupid, but I hope they keep sending it to me, because I’m going to print it and post it here for you to see,” she said in her Instagram Stories.

“I’m not afraid. There was another one who said, ‘I want to see you need the police.’ It’s your obligation [em me proteger]. You are there to serve the people. There are no comments”.

Then, the singer revealed that she had decided to say goodbye to Brazil. “This was the place I chose to grow old. My house is not for rent, I bought it, renovated it and did everything as I wanted. I’m very sad, because Pará is one of the most beautiful places in the world, but living like this is not yes,” he lamented.

“First there is my mental health, the protection of my husband and my children, because these types of people have nothing to lose, they can do something for the people I love. They won’t do it for me, because they have scared of me,” he stressed.

Moments later, the artist said, in an Instagram post, that he already had plans to temporarily leave the country in March. But after what happened, she decided to rearrange her work schedule to anticipate her move to her new home in Coimbra, Portugal.

“I want to clarify and demonstrate that my family and I would still switch countries,” she wrote. “By the grace of God, it will be for a very good reason: my husband Esdras [de Souza] passed the master’s degree in Music Therapy, at the Lusíada College in Lisbon.”

“I’m not leaving because of other people’s noise, or rather, other people’s abuse,” she added. “Everyone is witnesses that the negotiations at the beginning were not like this, because I have always been cordial, polite and when possible also generous, and I have never failed to recognize the value of their livelihood [borracharia] – just because I’m also a feisty woman.”

Gretchen added that she still owns the house, which she has been renting out. “The new residents are people of entitlement and they certainly won’t allow abuse in the same way,” she said.

“I want to make it even clearer that I am not afraid of anyone, not even the police.
