After beating São José this Saturday morning, Palmeiras faced Desportivo Brasil, also at the Football Academy, winning 3-1. Goals from Argentine ‘Flaco’ López, Uruguayan Miguel Merentiel and Danilo.

1st time

In the first half of 30 minutes, Verdão’s lineup was Weverton; Garcia, Gómez, Vitor Reis (U17) and Piquerez; Fabinho, Ze Rafael and Bruno Tabata; Rony, Flaco Lopez and Giovani. Wingers Rony and Giovani have changed sides numerous times.

The duel was even and the visitors opened the scoring in the 12th minute, after a nice shot from outside the area that hit the corner. Abel Ferreira’s team only equalized in the last minute. From the right, Garcia headed in a cross to López, who headed in with a header.

2nd time

In the second stage, the team was Marcelo Lomba; Mayke, Naves, Luan and Vanderlan; Gabriel Menino, Atuesta and Raphael Veiga; Breno Lopes, Merentiel and Navarro.

The match was well balanced and Palmeiras overturned the standings in the 21st minute. Atuesta delivers a corner kick, Luan wins, forcing the opposing goalkeeper to make a great save, but Merentiel finds the goal.

3rd time

In the second, there will be a facial biometrics test at the stadium, with Avanti members having the unique benefit of following the activity.

Palmeiras’ official seasonal debut will be on the 14th, against São Bento, at 18:30 (Brasilia time), at the Allianz Parque, for the first round of the Campeonato Paulista.
