Next Tuesday (10), the (80th Golden Globe Awards), which will reward the best audiovisual professionals, films and television programs of the past year.
Unlike previous editions, the 2023 Golden Globes will not be broadcast on cable channel TNT – e by any other vehicle according to the Omelete website.
The nominees in the various categories were chosen by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) and the nominees were announced on December 12.
Recently, the HFPA announced the induction of 103 new members, in response to criticisms of a lack of racial diversity in voting, a fact that even canceled live broadcasting in the US in 2022.
Now, the judging panel of what is Hollywood’s second-largest award (after the Oscars) is represented by 62 countries and 52% are women. The move also left the group at 51.5 percent racial and ethnic diversity.
