Tite, a former Brazil national team manager, was not nominated for the final list of best coaches in men’s football in 2022. Among the nominees for coach of the year are the two Qatar Cup finalists: Lionel Scaloni, from Argentina, and Didier Deschamps, from France. In addition to them, Carlo Ancelotti, from Real Madrid, Pep Guardiola, from Manchester City, and Walid Regragui, from the Moroccan national team, are also competing.
