From his starring role as Chidi in the right place, William Jackson Harper has gone to fascinating places on screen. Suffered at the hands of Hårga to Ari Aster mid summerwas involved in a holiday mystery in the acclaimed series last year The station – and later, will be seen in the psychedelic traps of the Quantum Realm in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantum Mania. What we do know about Quaz is that he is a telepath, appearing here with Katy M. O’Brian’s Jentorra, a freedom fighter protesting the injustice faced by the teeming communities living in the small metropolis. . Here’s hoping Quaz brings some of that Chidi-level lore to the fight against Kang the Conqueror: Ant-Man and his friends are going to need all the help they can get to escape the menace of the MCU’s new Big Bad.
Of course, new character speculation always abounds, and internet theories say that Quaz could be anyone from Mr. Fantastic himself (there’s definitely has being a Fantastic Four entry attached to every Marvel project for years to come), to Marvel’s cosmic hero Quasar (given his name, it’s easy to see why the connection was made). In typical MCU fashion, expect all the secrets to stay until how much on the big screen in February.
