From the beginning The ant man movie, the true potential of the Quantum Realm has been teased. So inside Game over, proved to be the answer to time travel: the fact that time moves differently in the Quantum Realm means that it was suddenly possible to jump into the timeline established by the MCU. Yet, it still feels like our travels have only scratched the surface.
Until now. As the title suggests, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantum Mania is finally going to take audiences on a fantastic journey into the small but expansive dimension at the same time, introducing MCU audiences to the fresh flavors of full cosmic psychedelia. “It’s a fun place,” jokes writer Jeff Loveness. “It is an unlimited place of creation, diversity and extraterrestrial life.” A touch point that is sure to delight avid sci-fi fans? “It’s from Jodorowsky Dunes inside Marvel,” he says, referring to the cult director’s legendary and ambitious attempt to adapt Frank Herbert’s masterpiece.
The quantum realm also holds many secrets. Not only is Kang the Conqueror somehow trapped there, but Janet Van Dyne has a record of the years she spent surviving there, and Scott Lang, Hope and Hank are about to find out what all the fuss is about. . “She has a very rich history with Kang and unresolved issues,” Pfeiffer says of her mysterious matriarch. “The Quantum Realm can change a person and you can have a completely different life there. It’s something she didn’t want to get into.” Marvel head Kevin Feige adds, “It’s about how these five family members deal with this environment and the new reality that their mother/grandmother has gone through, and she’s a fighter. much, much for freedom. very well known and very powerful in the Quantum.
