“John Wick: Chapter 4” closes filming with noise CinemaCon

Lionsgate closed CinemaCon with a bang.

The studio took to the main stage on Thursday afternoon to share its whiteboard in front of theater owners and presented a series of test title reveals. John Wick 4, The Expendables 4, About My Father, God are you there? It’s me, Margaret, borders, Young Hunger Games Title and much more.

The latest installment in their massive franchise was offered by Keanu Reeves and Chad Stahelsky. The couple walked center stage at the end of the performance, to much applause from the audience. “Hello Vegas, hello CinemaCon, hello exposition,” Reeves said before transforming into a teleprompter to read the script. But not being in the right place, the couple got a little annoyed and completely overwhelmed the roughly 3,000 attendees.

“Did you meet Chad when we were making რიAtrica “In 1998,” Reeves said, hitting the road again. “I think this is a film where we establish our creative connection through the Wachowski School of Film and Storytelling. It was a great honor to build these stories with you.” so described John Wick The franchise as a “celebration of battle choreography, ballet action and storytelling that can only occur through movement”.

Stahelsky introduced the first face John Wick: Chapter 4. “Are you ready, John?” Lawrence asks Fishburn’s character to release a trailer that promises “a new day will be born, new ideas, new rules, new management.” Then Vicki says, “I’m going to kill everyone.” In an epic battle sequence (including a water-soaked cutscene), Vicky rides a horse into the desert, chases a car, and Vicki hits the enemy in the head with a knuckle. “I want you to find peace, John,” says the character in a voice. Second: “The only way to do that is to die.”

The previous three films about the retired assassin have grossed over $579 million at the worldwide box office, something Reeves did most of his own stunts and fight choreography for the films. The latest chapter has been delayed several times due to COVID-19 and is due for release on March 24, 2023.

Reeves and Stahelks were welcomed on stage by Lionsgate Motion Picture Group lead singer Joe Drake, who summarized Wick’s journey. “If there’s one thing we know about Mr. Vick after all this time, it’s that he rarely gets what he wants if it’s revenge,” he said. “John Wick is more than a movie series. It’s a modern myth, it’s a meticulous world and it’s a big screen experience.”

He said the studio had been watching Stahelsky for some time. “We work with Chad ტოEutokebes Even in 2010. He had the most original perspective on tricks we’ve ever seen. We bet: Chad’s vision and Keanu’s separate onscreen presence will overwhelm the action genre. And this bet justified them all. ”

The start of the session was comedian Sebastián Maniscalco, who took the stage as the show’s MC. A good choice for Las Vegas as it sells regularly in and around Sin City, and even more suitable when Lionsgate highlights about my fatherLoosely based on her life story and starring Robert De Niro, Leslie Bibi and Kim Catral.

Walking confidently onto the Colosseum stage at Caesars Palace, Maniscalco released a short comedy set that covered face masks, the insane price of climbing a swimming pool in Vegas, and even the size of CinemaCon badges (which, by the way, are huge). “I’ve been watching you for the last three days, talking about the casino,” he said. “’Who the hell decided the strings were going to be this big?’ What do you keep there? Your tax return? Some of you go to the casino [hunched over].”

As for Las Vegas fashion, he said: “Las Vegas has changed a lot in the last 30 years. [People] He came here dressed. It’s like a dream party.”

In addition to the jokes, Lionsgate posted a video message from Kurt Jackson, better known as rap icon 50 Cent, who featured a star full of consumables 4 Wheel. Directed by Scott Wow with the stars of 50 Cent, heavyweights Jason Statham, Sylvester Stallone, Megan Fox, Dolph Lundgren, Andy Garcia, Randy Couture and Uko Avis.

“This movie is more violent than Will Smith in the Comedy Club, let’s say,” he joked before introducing Maniscalco 50 Cent. “I love movie theaters,” he said. “It’s right here, it’s going to be my movie. I continue with this franchise.

The clip begins with a Stallone character actually saying, “This life isn’t for everyone.” Then came the facts about the franchise that over 500,000 bullets were used in combat and over 7,000 dead bodies were accumulated in the last three installments. “It was about heating it up,” the wheel rumbled.

We want to bring all viewers back to their theaters, those who want to find out what they love and not say what they like.
