First of all, the production was commissioned by Tetsuro Araki, the film director to whom we owe the attack on the anime Titan and the staging of several episodes of Death Note.
In terms of script, Gen Urobucci (Psycho Pass) took care of that. To shape the character design, the producers turned to the manga Death Note designer, Takeshi Obata.
Everything was controlled by Wit Studio, the company behind the first three seasons of Attack on Titan. As for the soundtrack, Hiroyuk Savano (Attack on Titan, Promare) was responsible for composing the music.
