The top of the entity defends more team games in Brazil
The gradual withdrawal of the Brazilian men’s team from its fans is due to several reasons: the busy schedule of European teams, the increasingly early departure of our stars abroad, etc. But none of this can stop the team from approaching domestic fans.
This is the thought of the president of the CBF, Ednaldo Rodrigues. Starting this year, he wants the team to play more matches in Brazil and reconnect with the millions of fans who live here.
Ednaldo is negotiating with the clubs to see who will replace Pitch, responsible for the exploitation of the commercial rights of the team’s friendlies over the past ten years. The contract with the former partner ended in December 2022.
“The national team needs to play more in the country, this is a cry from the fans themselves, who want to see their idols up close. Despite the difficulties caused by the international agenda, we will seek this closeness for the good of the national team,” said Ednaldo.
