The ‘Stranger Things’ actress is about to plunge into a “fairy tale.”
The release date for one of the upcoming Netflix movies, ‘Damsel,’ starring ‘Stranger Things’ actress Millie Bobby Brown, has been announced.
The film tells the story of Elodie, a young woman born in the impoverished Kingdom of Inophe, as reported The Hollywood Reporter. Her luck soon changes, when a rich but mysterious King offers his family wealth enough to save Inophe, in exchange for promising the young woman in marriage.
Unfortunately, There’s no happily ever after when Elodie first visits the Kingdom and quickly begins to uncover its dark secrets.
But, When can we enjoy ‘Damsel’ on the platform? streaming? We will still have to wait a little longer, the film will hit our screens on October 13 of this year.
Brown has also been an executive producer of the film. The cast includes names like: Robin Wright, Ray Winstone, Nick Robinson, and Brooke Carter.
However, this is not the only Netflix project that the actress is developing.
In October, he was filming ‘The Electric State’an adaptation of the eponymous graphic novel by Simon Stålenhag.
This film will be directed by Marvel duo Joe and Anthony Russo, and will star Chris Pratt, Michelle Yeoh, and Brian Cox.
‘Damsel’ will arrive on Netflix on October 13, 2023. Millie Bobby Brown’s latest film for Netflix, ‘Enola Holmes 2’, and its predecessor ‘Enola Holmes’, are available on the platform.
