With temperatures rising, Cariocas don’t want to stay at home. Since the month of January is a holiday for young people and children, the Municipal Secretariat of Culture has prepared a series of activities so as not to let anyone get bored.

Janeiro will have summer camps and free programming in Rio’s museums for children and adults

The Museums of Tomorrow, History of the City and History of Afro-Brazilian Culture (Muhcab) will present a series of attractions aimed at children of different age groups, most of which are free and without prior registration.

Various workshops, games and artistic presentations will be offered. Starting on the 27th, the North and West Zones will receive six free summer camps, in their tarps, arenas and sandboxes.

One of the attractions is the Lona Cultural Herbert Vianna, in Maré. A “pool” and a “pipaço” will be held on site.

Those interested can also visit the beautiful Copacabana Fort, at Posto 6.
