This Tuesday (24th), the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announces the 2023 Academy Award nominees list.
Brazil is no longer in the running for the Oscar for best international film, as mars one, the one selected by the country for the category, is not among the nominees. However, there are still two productions from our country that could figure among the candidates: the documentary feature film The territory and the short film sidereal.
Actress Alison Williams and actor Riz Ahmed will present the announcement of the candidates, which began at 10:30 am Brasilia time. The award ceremony is scheduled for March 12.
