Daisy Ridley, ready to return to Star Wars

    Daisy Ridleythe protagonist of the latest trilogy of Star Wars, has discussed the possibility of returning to the franchise, revealing that she is open to the idea. Something that has also happened recently with Tobey Maguire and his desire to be Spider-Man again.

    The actress played Rey in the sequel trilogy, whose character, in addition to having one of the most feminine and empowering movie phrases in history, has a totally open future after the events of ‘The Rise of Skywalker’, a film that It appears in the last positions in our ranking of ‘Star Wars’ films.

    Speaking to IMDb at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival, the actress was asked if she had any plans to return to the franchise, to which she replied: “I am open to a call: I am looking for a job”.

    ‘Episode IX’ marked the conclusion of the Skywalker saga, which began in 1977 with ‘A New Hope’. The recent production of the franchise has focused on the small screen, and it will continue like this, with the premieres of ‘Andor 2’ and ‘The Mandalorian 3’, which we will be able to see on Disney+.

    Ridley’s upcoming projects include ‘The Marsh King’s Daughter’, which features the participation of Ben Mendelsohn (‘Rogue One’), another former face of Star Wars, and ‘Young Woman and the Sea’from Disney, which portrays the life of swimmer Gertrude Ederle.
