Soon, viewers will be able to see a new biopic about the “King of Pop” Michael Jackson. The role of the cult singer in the upcoming film will be performed by the performer’s nephew Jaafar Jackson, son of Jermaine Jackson, Michael’s older brother and member of The Jackson 5. Last summer, the young man turned 26 years old.
It is a great honor for me to bring to life the story of my uncle Michael, – Jaafar Jackson commented on his role.
Jaafar has been involved in music and dance for many years since he was a teenager. In the summer of 2019, he released his debut single “Got Me Singing”. The song was released in collaboration with producer Hardy Indigo. Also, Jaafar has ten more songs – they should be included in his first studio album.
Jaafar’s candidacy for the role of Michael was supported by members of the Jackson family. They are actively involved in the work on the film, directed by Antoine Fuqua.

Recall that last year the ex-fiance of one of the sisters of Michael Jackson robbed the singer’s estate.
