‘Dexter: New Blood’ is canceled and will not have a season 2

Dexter’s story won’t continue (it was a bit complicated anyway), but he plans to return to his youth in a spin-off.

    If you’re reading this and didn’t watch all 10 episodes of the ‘Dexter: New Blood’ storyline reboot, keep in mind that we’re going to start directly with big spoilers about the series:

    In the ‘Dexter: New Blood’ finale, Police Chief Bishop (Julia Jones) finally connected the Bay Harbor butcher’s dots with Dexter (Michael C. Hall), arrested him and brought him in for questioning. But Dexter manages to escape from his cell after killing Logan (Alano Miller), and runs into Harrison (Jack Alcott), who discovered Dexter’s favorite hobby in the ninth episode. Harrison, Dexter’s biological son, ends up killing his father. and leaves town.

    Therefore, dexter morgan is dead. But even so, rumors of a second season have continued to appear from time to time, fueling the hopes of fans of the series. The continuation would focus on Harrison and give meaning to the title of ‘New Blood (New Blood)’. However, Showtime has officially announced that season 2 will not take place… Although it does not close the doors to a spin-off in the form of a prequel about a young Dexter.

    ‘Dexter’ first debuted in 2006 and ran for eight seasons until 2013. The series followed Dexter Morgan, a forensic analyst for the Miami Metro Police Department who is a serial killer in his spare time.
